Tuesday greeted my guests and I to once again very warm temps and a lack of winds, very humid out there. That said, the fishing was very good for these conditions and we boated some nice walleye and a good amount of perch. Using 1/16th ounce Invasion jigs tipped with extra large fatheads or 1/2 crawler, we started out in shallow (5 ft) weeds and found a good deal of smaller eyes along with a few nice keepers mixed in with a good deal of perch. After the shallow bite came to an end, we moved to deep (14 ft) over submerged stumps and laid down timber and found some real nice active walleye, same bait choice, just switched to 1/8th ounce jigs. Called it a day at 1 PM due to the heat factor. Back out on Sunday, will keep you posted.
