Big change in the weather, big change in the bite. Spent the morning hours yesterday searching and searching for the hot spot, seems like every spot we fished was overrun with pike and rock bass. Flipping Invasion jigs tipped with extra large fats, leeches, and 1/2 crawler, over all different depths and structures produced very little walleye action. Hot sunny sky's and barely a ripple on the water surely had the eyes shut down for the most part. We did manage to pop 4 nice eyes along with some nice jumbo perch, but that's nothing compared to all the pike and rockies we boated. Back out today for another go at it, hoping for a breeze and cloud cover, will keep you posted.
