The past two days has seen increasing temps along with some very good walleye action. Both days, with 88 plus degrees, along with medium to very high winds, the walleye have been on a roll, mostly in 3 to 8 foot of water in and around weeds, wood, and also shoreline boulders. A little quicker retrieve needed in these shallows to keep jig just ticking the top of the weeds or what ever structure you are fishing. Extra large fatheads and 1/2 crawler has been bait of choice. Good numbers to go along with some very nice size eyes is an improvement from just a week ago, and also running into some very nice jumbo perch. Back out today for another trip, will keep you posted.
