We slid onto the river Thursday right after I got back from taking my daughter to the doctor. We saw 12 fish and managed to put a mid-30’s in the net. The largest we saw was in the 43-45” class but most were between 35-40”. I was extremely surprised at the fish activity under the blue skies of a serious cold front. We fished in our “October” clothing!

All but 1 of our fish came in on an RB7. The other fish took a half-swing at James’ twitchbait.

No fishing for me over the weekend. I was able to travel to SRU and watch my daughter play in an AAU tournament both days. Monday will be devoted to yard work and garage clean up.

Thank you to all the fellows who laced them up and gave all they could for our country over the years.

Good luck and stay tuned!
