Wednesday greeted my guest and I to some very windy west winds, right direction but a little too windy, so we decided to spend our morning working small bays and shorelines out of the wind. This paid off as we found active walleye, perch, and of course, pike and rock bass. Tried both jigging and slip bobbers and both were productive as we had some nice fish in the well by noon. Fatheads, crawlers, and leeches were used and all produced equally. Back out tomorrow, will keep you posted.
