Yesterday's afternoon trip was very successful for both crappie and walleye. The bite, was once again in shallow 3 to 5 foot of water in and around weeds or brush. My two guests and I found immediate action as we boated a walleye and a big crappie on the first two casts, then it was cast and catch after that. We boated fish on every drift, several small perch and pike greeted us on every drift but we still managed 10 big crappie and 6 keeper eyes. All fish were boated on 1/16th ounce Invasion jigs tipped with either 1/2 crawler or fathead.

Back out for a full day trip today with the same gentlemen, will keep you posted.
