Mondays action was pretty good despite cool temps and a NNW wind. Doing a half day trip, my two clients and I started out working shallow shoreline wood and brush piles with Invasion jigs tipped with large fatheads and had pretty good action from some nice sized pike, boated a good number of them but kept 3 dandies. Moving on to deeper water, 14 to 20 foot over hard bottom along with big boulders, we hit pay dirt. Switching over to 1/4 ounce roundhead jigs, we found several walleye in these areas and put 7 in the well not a bad morning at all except for the wind and a surprise snow shower.

Back out today, will keep you posted.
