Today was a much better day hunting bass. The fellas landed 15-17 very nice smallies and 3 or 4 more in the 15-17 inch range. Mike also had a musky eat his bass swimbait at boatside but came off during the initial headshaking. It was around 30 inches. That was it for the day.... Mike headed back to Montana and his dad back to Williamsport.


I think I will keep the boat in the garage the next 3 days and do a few outdoor house chore projects. My sore shoulder will determine how long I actually work.

The river is low and clear and temps are consistently rising. Let’s hope the snow is behind us.
