We had a nice day on the water Saturday. Ryan was swinging a hot bat with 2 muskies in the net, another follow and another lost fish. Chris stuck a decent pike while fishing last all day. The Rig Boss 7’s had all the action. Both muskies were in the mid to upper 30-inch class. River is still running super low and clear for this time of year. Upriver temps were 49 and downriver temps were 45-46.

Historically, the current river temps are on a pretty normal pace for this time of year. We saw a few more boats yesterday which likely coincides with the closing of archery season.

We decided to cancel today’s trip with the looming forecast plus the lack of bass numbers migrating northward.

I plan to fish 4 of the 5 days over Thanksgiving break which begins on Wednesday. We will chase bass/walleye on Wednesday and then chase Esox the other 3 days.

Good luck and stay tuned.
