Well, another decent day chasing muskies. Around 9am, Adam hooked his largest fish to date only to see it roll on the surface and come unbuttoned 10 seconds later. Then, over the next 5 hours we moved 3 more fish with 1 being a 30" pike and the other 2 muskies were in the upper-30's range.

It has been difficult getting these dang fish to the net. It is almost like fishing a continuous cold front since the strikes are much softer than normal. All a guy can do is take care of the things HE has control over and the rest will be what it will be.

Water temps varied depending on location. We saw temps ranging between 49 and 53. The bass and walleye bite must still be poor due to the lack of boats (canoes especially) over the past couple of weeks.

We will chase muskies both days during this upcoming weekend.

Good Luck and stay tuned!

HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY!
