Big Joe decided to take his adult sons, Joe II and Jim, on a musky hunt yesterday as all 3 of them were looking to catch their first decent sized musky. We had some good action and saw 4 fish but all of them were non-compliant. They ranged between 35 and about 45 inches. We had no bi-catches of any kind. Lots of boat traffic as the first day of the State Championships were going on. With the low water, we were able to find some hard-to-get-to water and had a nice day out there.

Today, 3 of us are chasing muskies in the AM and then will switch over to bass/walleye around 11 or so. Water temps in the mid-60’s or so.

Stay tuned and good luck!
