We plowed thru the thick fog at sunrise and headed to an area that had been producing pike for much of the summer and yesterday was no exception as Doc Larry hooked 2 in the 30” range but only netted 1 of them. We did not see a musky the entire morning as river temps had really dropped since last weekend. We hardly saw any surface activity between sunrise and noon and very little (visible) bait in the shallows. It felt like mid-October out there with the same situation for this morning as well.

I am not sure what Doc will choose to chase this morning but my money is on bass/walleye.

Stay tuned and good luck!
