Low, clear water was (once again) the theme on Saturday as tried to get Cody and his dad their first Allegheny muskies. Cody did catch a nice mid-30’s pike and Joe netted a very lightly colored walleye in 6 hours of fishing. We did see a thick mid-40’s musky around 8:30 but she quickly spooked close to the boat.

Today, we are just trying to bend a rod with Tom and his Mom. We will likely focus mainly on pike and bass with the hopes of having some good action as the storm front moves into our area. The river is even lower than Saturday. This is normally the time of year when the river begins to rise a little as the ACE begins drawing down the Res for Winter.

Good luck and stay tuned!
