We spent 6 hours targeting Esox yesterday and netted 2 smallish pike. 2 larger pike came to the boat but wouldn’t commit and 1 short-striking musky (we think) didn’t get ‘good hooks’ and was gone. 1 nice, accidental bass fell victim to a downsized musky crankbait. All in all, the fishing was pretty decent if you are covering the water thoroughly and keeping baits in the strike zone longer.

Today, we are just trying to bend a rod and see what happens. Hopefully, the fish respond positively to the approaching weather. We shall see.

Stay safe and good luck!
