Another storm rolled thru the area on Sunday creating some very stained conditions for Monday. We decided to give it a try anyway since the bite really couldn’t get much worse. The strategy was to find shallow structure and pull slow moving topwater baits across it. I guess it paid off as we managed to get 3 decent bass to the net and a couple more missed blow-ups.

We fished until 11 and visibility was about 1 foot.

Today, we are shifting gears over to muskies. We plan to spend a full day on the water but we will ultimately let the fish tell us what to do as we plan to fish the stained water the entire time.

Good luck and stay tuned!
