We did a half day bass trip between 10am and 3pm under sunny blue skies and grinded out 11-13 bass with only a couple over the 2 pound mark. As the sun got higher, the fishing got tougher.

Later that evening, 3 of us did a 5 hour walleye hunt between 530–1030pm and could only scratch out 6-8 bass and all of them were caught after 9pm. Jeff had 1 big walleye take a boatside swing at his bait within the first 20 minutes of the trip. I guess it was ‘opposite’ day in my boat.🙂

Back at it tomorrow and Tuesday chasing muskies before I take several days off around the upcoming holiday.

Stay tuned and good luck!
