Interesting about the algae. The area south of the Conewingo used to have an annual June bloom. The stuff would just cover the bottom for a few weeks and then wash out. It was a pain. I haven't been in that area this time of year recently. The stuff would really impact fishing then just seemed to go away. The August floating grass is always annoying. The Rainbow is also cool. The island around Starbrick had a nice batch of trout around it years ago as did the riffle down from Betts Park. Those areas went dead for trout for sometime and maybe they are back. All the high water of recent years and possibly some cooler temps help.
