We decided to put in a 6-hour day on Wednesday afternoon. The first 2.5 hours were pretty good with 2 fish following to the boat and 2 other ‘slashers’ headshaking themselves to freedom. We did net a decent pike in the last spot we fished.

Water was higher than normal but much lower than it has been for 2 straight months. Temps above Warren are 54 and 58 below the Conewango confluence.

We will chase bass and walleye on Friday afternoon (weather permitting) and muskies on Sat and Sunday.

Stay tuned!
