    Default 3/22 Musky Hunt

Well, we are gonna chase muskies on Sunday (since I moved away from the crazy temperature drop that happened overnight) while hoping Sunday’s sunny skies will charge them up a little despite the big temp swing. We will be wearing masks/gloves and taking the steps for prevention. No cases here in Warren County yet and we, as a family, have self-quarantined since schools were closed last week. My wife is a teacher too.

Gov. Wolfe has designated “Fishing Operations” as essential and will not close down beginning Monday at 8am. Good luck to those who are not able to work and good luck to those venturing out on the water!

Hopefully, we will have a pic or three of some Allegheny River muskies to help keep you going during these crazy times.

    Stay Tuned.

We got our butts kicked today. Launched the boat at a balmy 22 degrees and kept icing up for the next 3 hours. We hunted and hunted but couldn’t find anyone hungry. The muskies did a world class job with their social distancing techniques today....sorry, had to say it.

The severe cold front sure did not help things but that is the way early-Spring fishing goes in NW PA.

    Good luck and stay tuned.
