Saturday, Matt booked a morning trip on "Pete" along with his dad Bob. They recently purchased a vacation home on the east side and wanted to see what presentations I use. The morning started of quite windy, and stayed that way until we left at the lake at 11 am. We jigged soaked dead sticks tipped with Black-Tail chubs, leeches, and crawler chunks in 20 feet of water.
The walleye bite lately has been early and it was the same today, unless you wanted white bass. You had to keep the minnows and crawlers really close to bottom, if you were 3 feet or above the white bass would eat you up. We kept a few of the big white's, along with some perch, pumpkin-seeds, and keeper walleyes.

Sunday, Rich and Tracy Joined me on "The Rock". Another windy morning coming straight out of the east, and with a temperature hovering around the 50 degree mark it was a tad chilly. Another early morning bite for the walleyes, but the big white bass were active here as well. Today everything came on black-tails.

Keep a tight line!!!
