Fishing action this past week has been pretty good once again with the exception of yesterday. Walleyes are still relating to deeper wood and rocks/boulders, 10 to 12 foot has been the magic depth, and being taken on Invasion jigs tipped mostly with large fatheads, 1/2 crawler has caught some, but mostly perch, bluegills and rockbass on the crawlers. Panfish for the most part are hanging in or near deep brush piles and cribs, vertical jigging these spots with 1/32nd or 1/16th ounce jigs with light wire hooks work the best, weedless jigs work too but you may want to trim some of the weed guard off to make it easier for the gills to take it in. Tip your jigs with either medium fats or a small piece of crawler for best results. Speaking of yesterday, we did catch 3 eyes and 10 nice panfish in our half day on the pond, so I guess it was a decent morning of fishing.

No trip today but will be out there looking for new structure.
