    Thumbs up 7/18-7/20

Paul from West Bend booked trips for himself, his brother, and his dad for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We had to cancel Thursday because of storms and high winds. Friday we trolled cranks the entire trip and finished with 4 "keepers", 3 big white bass, 1 small mouth, and 2 catfish for the fillet table. We also boated about 25 "shorties", a bunch of 6 inch white bass, and some sheep's head. Today we started soaking dead rods, and jigging, but it was a bit slow so we put the planer boards in the water again and trolled. With the storms coming in the fish were really active. 11 "keepers", 1 small mouth, and 1 catfish made it into the livewell today. We headed in just before 10 am to try and beat the storm, and we almost made it. The winds and driving rain hit while I was backing the trailer in the water. By the time I got it loaded and tied down I was soaked.

    Keep a tight line!!!
