Despite the continued North wind and cooler temps, Monday's action was pretty good. My 4 guests, 2 in a tag a long boat, and I, found success in most places we fished. Using weedless Invasion jigs tipped with mudminnows, we found the eyes scattered for the most part, couple here and a couple there, most all came from areas with gravel bottom, large shoreline boulders, or shallow wood, nothing in the weeds. Several occasions yesterday where we had fish at the boat with another swimming circles around it as it was being netted, neat to watch. At days end, we boated a very good number of eyes, kept 14 keepers, all males, and a few big smallies (released). Good size to some of the males with the largest measuring 19 inches, all milkers, good way to break in my new carpet.

Back out today, will keep you posted.
