    Default Club trip

Had some luck this past weekend on a trip with some guys from my local chapter. Thought I would share this fish.
I'm kicking myself about this picture. I had just dropped the fish and was rushing to get it back in the water ASAP. I thought my buddy would have been snapping more pics. Unfortunately, all I have are a few pics of a bent fish and a lasting memory of the fight. Still not the magic mark. It was the rarest of all muskie lengths... At least the head size gets some justice.

    49.5! My new PB
LSC! I will definitely be heading back next year. The weather was spotty but we still had a great time. I finished going 7/12 for the weekend. Hard fishing. Big rubber.

Nice to see there are still a few of us left that choose NOT to round up to 50.

    Congrats on your new PB!

Thanks Red. Now to get one from the river, if it ever comes down. Looking to head up to the camp again around Thanksgiving. Fingers crossed the river will be fishable.

We have been dealing with some high river issues this entire month. The ACE has been holding some water back from time to time so the mussel study can be completed in the East Hickory area. That, coupled with all the rain and the Fall draw-down time, has given us plenty of water to deal with up here. We are looking at 8900 to 17,000 cfs for the next 5 days, at least.

    Good Luck out there!
