This past week has seen mixed results for walleyes but crappie and perch action has remained on the good side. Walleye fishing has been decent at best due to all the wind and fronts moving through making for very cloudy water. Walleye are still scattered in different depths and structure, one day their in the shallow wood or rocks while the next day they can be found in 15 plus feet over both wood and rocks, yesterday for example the shallow bite was very slow but after much searching we found several eyes in 15 to 22 feet of water over gravel/rocky bottom. All the eyes have been taken on Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads. Crappies are in the deep wood along side the big gills while perch are still scattered, both shallow rocky/wood shorelines while others in deep wood. Crappies and gills are being taken on soft plastics, while perch are being taken on jigs and fatheads.

Back out today and most of next week, will keep you posted.
