Thread: Delavan Lake Fishing Reports

  1. Default Delavan Lake Fishing Reports

Bluegills fishing remain good. We have been doing the best in the 13-15 ft depth range. Using a small split shot and a leaf worms or half of nightcrawler.
Walleye fishing remains relatively spotty with the warm water temperatures. I’ve been catching a few in 15-17 ft of water just off the weed line. Drop shot rigged leeches or nightcrawlers have been producing the best action.
Largemouth bass have been positioned right on the weed line in 15-17 ft of water. We have been catching most of the fish along the deep weed lines You can either catch them with a drop shot rigged finesse worm or a split shot rigged nightcrawler.
Nothern pike have been slow. Most of the action is coming from the shallow weeds on a white spinner bait or a white chatter bait.
Crappies have been positioned right off the buoy line on the south end. The fish are in the weeds in 12-13 ft of water. A small fat head minnows fished beneath a slip bobber has provided good action.
