We are starting a little later today and plan to fish into darkness this evening so here is a quick update:

We finished 12th in the tourney with a 51” being our largest so far. We hired Chris of LSC Casting Guide Service yesterday while our boat had some scheduled maintenance done. We lost 3 fish in the low-50 inch class and had 2 more tankers zoom by but would not eat! It was a crazy feeding window as rain clouds skirted the lake. One of the tankers came on a textbook figure 8 hookup and she spit me after 3 seconds of thrashing.

The bite was slower than it had been after a cold front came thru Thursday nite and Friday. The fishing has slowly improved each day so hopefully we stick a couple studs today.

Stay tuned.
