Thread: Lake Delavan, Geneva and area lakes fishing reports

  1. Default Lake Delavan, Geneva and area lakes fishing reports

With this recent dominate hot weather patterns we have been still having lots of fun catching plenty of large mouth bass, some small mouth bass, and a few walleyes in the deep weeds 15 ft to 20 ft. depth range. Been catching them while casting a split shot/night crawler or a wacky rigged Wacky O . Green pumpkin or blue flack. Bluegills are in 12 to 15 ft of water you need to move around to find the bigger fish. crawler chunks are producing most of the action while drop shot rig has been the best presentation.. Walleye fishing has been slower during the day on split shot rigged night crawler in the weeds 12 to 18 ft. and along the deeper weed lines with rocks connect moving as they are moving into their summer middle of the lake rock structures pattern.

6/28/18 Lake Koshkonong P.M. partly sunny 75 degrees, SW winds, water temps 78, Caught13 walleye 5 over 15 inches. 6 white bass 2 pike while trolling #7 flicker shads.

6/29/18 Lake Delavan A.M., sunny, 80 degrees, SE winds at 10 mph, water temp 79 degrees Catching 14 largemouth bass, 1 smallmouth, and a few of bluegills. We fished weed lines in 12-18ft of water. We used slip bobbers and drop shot night crawlers and leeches. We fished Grey Condos, The Tree, Three Flags, and the Inland.

6/3018 Lake Delavan A.M.- P.M. Sunny 85 S winds, water temps 80. Caught 26 largemouth, 4 walleye, 3 perch, and a bunch of bluegills on drop shot with crawler working the best.

7/1/18 Lake Delavan A.M. partly sunny SE winds, Water temps 80. Caught 17 bass, walleye, along with a lot of bluegills. Weed less drop shot shot crawlers & leeches worked best near the Village Supper Club, Ash Pile West of Willow Point and in front of Browns Point.

7/2/18 Lake Geneva, partly sunny, winds E, water temps 85. Caught 11 smallmouth bass, 12 bluegills and a bunch of rock bass. I used drop shot finesse worm in 15 to 22 ft of water.
