Tracy and Rich booked a split trip for today on "The Rock". They have friends with them for the weekend so Rich and Dan opted for the early start at 6 am. We jigged and soaked dead rods until 10. The bite started off great with rich boating a nice 26" slot fish. We also had a bunch of "shorties", sheep's head, crappies, northern pike, and catfish. At 10 o'clock Dan's daughter Hanna joined us for a few hours. We started trolling crank baits in Buckhorn Bay, but they just didn't want the hard baits we had out, so we went back to jigging. We boated more walleyes, sheep's head, and another crappie. My friend Ray stopped by and he had 1 keeper in the livewell and was calling it a day, so he threw that in with what we had. The group ended up taking home 2 17 1/2" walleyes, and a few crappies.

Keep a tight line!!!
