(“NO FISH NO PAY, GUARANTEED”)

The Crappie and Gills were all shallow. You could see them every where. We did catch Crappie on minnows but, we caught almost all fish on plastics today. Some spots it was like cartoon fishing.

One spot where we were fishing the Gills, Mike caught 16 in 16 casts, unreal. Only kept 3 of those eager biters.

Raining right now and that may change everything for tomorrow, on that lake, or maybe not.

Spring is a finicky time of year, early patterns last a couple of weeks and then soon dissolve. Shoreline Pan fish are there for a few days and then, they are gone.

Water temps are important in spring and the water temps now are no different than any other spring except, for the time of year the ice went out.

My clients are enjoying the happiness of the north during this time of year, as many, many other fishermen are also doing. Everyone involved is supporting our communities and business’s.

As always, stay positive, think clearly, do not listen to negative talk and do not listen to negative people.

God Bless
John Andrew
