Jeff from West Bend booked a catch and release trip for this morning along with his wife Debbie and their son Dan on "The Rock". We launched at 6 am right after the cold rain ended that started Monday morning. Water temperature was 60.2 which is a bit on the cool side for late May. They have not put a lot of fishing time on the lake and just installed a Humminbird gps/sonar with a Lake Master data card and wanted to know how to interpret what is on the screen and find some locations to try. We started off soaking dead rods and jigging in a couple of spots, then tried the bobber rods for a short time, and trolled with planer boards and cranks to end the morning. Finished with a mixed bag of "shorties", and "keeper" walleyes, crappies, white bass, perch, and Debbie boated a big catfish that gave her about a five minute battle.

Keep a tight line!!!
