A pic from our point (this morning 4-26-18) facing South East, some shoreline water open but no open water on the other side of our point facing North West.

Watched ice fisherman on V.V. Lake yesterday and they left quickly.

Just got back from a drive to the 2 local Flowages within 40 miles of our home and another quick sled ride around the P.I. Chain. All ice (no snow) on the lakes. Drilled 2 holes, we have around 28 inches on P.I. Lake and about the same on V. V. Lake.

95% of both Flowages are still froze over, the inlets are open but, no surrounding water is open. Rain and Wind will fix most issues. It is going to take a few days of warmer and wet weather to open things up.

Keep in mind we are only "9 days away" from the opener.

God Bless

John Andrew
