Chris booked a morning trip on "The Rock" for Sunday, along with his son Colin, and his dad Dennis. They have not tried a lot of fishing here except for some trolling and dock fishing by Northern Bay. We launched by the Buckhorn Bridge and started the morning bouncing jigs tipped with minnows in the current flow under the bridge. We boated about 20 walleyes with only one being a keeper, then we soaked minnows under bobbers for a while and caught a couple crappies. There didn't want to keep fish so all are still swimming. The lake is within a few inches of summer target level, and the flow through the dams is being reduced almost hourly. Water temperatures are hovering around the 50 degree mark and should start to increase with the warmer day and nigh time temps.

Keep a tight line!!!
