Barry and his dad Duane from the Sussex area booked a morning trip for today on "The Rock". They do most of their fishing north of the Buckhorn Bridge and wanted to find some spots on the main lake to try. They wanted to start the morning trying for some blue gill so we headed towards the east on a hump dotted with wood and dabbled 1/32 ounce ice jigs tipped with half a red worm. When we left that spot we boated 25 blue gills, put 19 in the live well, 2 crappies, 2 sheep's head, 1 catfish, and 1 short walleye. For the last hour and a half we targeted walleyes and boated about a dozen white bass, a few more "shorties", 1 nice "keeper", and another crappie.

Keep a tight line!!!
