Monday's morning trip didn't go as planned but we still caught some nice panfish. Dealing with cold front conditions and fairly strong nw winds, my two guests and I spent the morning hours bouncing around in the waves and vertical jigging 1/16th ounce jigs tipped with either a small piece of crawler or gulp in 12 to 17 feet of water over submerged wood, we did catch a good deal of fish, mostly small fish were caught but we did manage to boat some nice crappie and bluegills, but the perch which we were really looking for didn't show up for the party, we did get a few for the well but once again most were very small, jumbo perch they weren't. Also had a few walleye but too small to keep.

No trip today, back out soon, will keep you posted.
