Steven and Alec, two firefighters from the western suburbs of Chicago booked a morning trip on "Pete" for today. Neither of them have ever been here before and wanted to catch some fish and learn a little about the lake. We started the morning jigging and soaking dead rods and boated 2 "keepers", a bunch of "shorties", some white bass, and 1 pike. they had never seen planer boards in use so we finished the morning pulling Shad Raps, and Hornets. Added a bunch more "shorties", 3 more "keepers", and a couple white bass.
Keep a tight line!!!
