    Default Musky Fishing Report

August is off to a good start as far the Muskie action goes. Fish are moving on buck tails and top water as well as jerk baits. Muskies have been relating to points and islands with the best spots consisting of a mix of wood and weed cover. The Muskies on area lakes are in the deepest weeds you can find. Rubber baits like bull dawgs along with deep diving crank baits have been working the best to bring these fish up out of the weeds. Good Luck!!

Andy ,I usually fish the Flowage in May and haven't had any luck in May. We will be up there in a few weeks but not sure what area we should target. Not asking for a hot spot just asking am I missing something I have caught a few Muskies , it just seems that there is not any big ones compared to the amount of water that there is. 99.9 of the fish I catch go back. and I cast and cast and cast. I just enjoy the flowage for over 35+ years
