Tuesdays action started out slow but ended up with a bang. Starting out looking for panfish, my guest and I worked a number of cribs but only found rock bass along with 4 keeper bluegills. Moving on from there we tried a series of wind blown bays, weeds, shallow wood but only found a good number of skinny pike. Our next and last move was to 7 foot depths with submerged stumps and here we scored big time. Using both Reeves and Invasion weedless jigs tipped with either 1/2 crawler or large fatheads, we combed this area for some time and boated roughly 15 walleye, many in the 12 inch range but also some very nice ones, three largest ranged from 17 to 23 inches. Might add that the bluegills we kept had not spawned out yet, kind of a surprise.

Back out tomorrow, will keep you posted.
