Monday's walleye action can only be described as incredible. With clear sky's and a brisk NE wind blowing, one would think bad walleye conditions especially with all the bug hatches going on out there along with the young of the year perch fry swimming around, but not the case. My two guests and I working nothing but wind blown shorelines in 6 to 8 foot of water over weeds with Reeves and Invasion weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads found action from the very first spot and the bite went on for us for two hours as we had our limits by then, some pretty nice fish I may add. We then hit some real weedy areas in search of pike and caught and released a good number of them, great morning trip.

Back out today for another morning trip, will keep you posted.
