Saturday's action was a little slow to start with but did pick up at time went on. Spending time on the TFF was very special to one young man with special needs who's parents wanted him to catch a fish and that he did. The four of us started looking for walleye but seeing that the bite was slow we decided to try vertical jigging deeper water with Reeves weedless jigs tipped with either 1/2 crawler or medium fatheads and this paid off. Working 15 to 17 ft depths over stumpy areas along with some cribs we ended the day with a very nice mixture of walleye and jumbo perch. Also had a couple of big bluegills but released them at guests request, too big to keep was their response and I agreed. Might say the young man had the second biggest fish of the day and was all smiles. Congrats Ricky!

Back out today for a morning trip, will keep you posted.
