Saturday greeted my 2 guests and I with cool temps along with fairly strong east winds, not the greatest of days to be out fishing but we did find fish. Using 1/8th ounce weedless Invasion jigs tipped with large fatheads, we found a couple of nice eyes and some jumbo perch in 12 feet of water over submerged wood. Worked that area for some time with no more action so we then tried a 9 foot deep hump with wood once again and here we found another nice keeper eye. Worked another couple spots with no action then we moved in a wind blown bay and here we boated some more nice eyes but had to leave that spot as the winds really became brutal. Our last few spots we fished were out of the wind areas in hopes of finding fish and we managed one more eye along with a good number of pike with two of them on the hefty side.

Back out on Monday, will keep you posted.
