Hi everyone.
Didn't get out until Wednesday and Thursday with my bud John. The fishing wasn't bang bang but was ok. The bite came in spurts and we caught them in deep and shallow. Neither pattern was better then the other. Both produced. We used fathead and shiner minnows on my new inline jig and both produced equally well. We had a potpourri of weather with sunny, cloudy, windy, calm, and even rain. We fished hard and wound up with 38 walleyes in two days. Along with crappie, perch, and a bunch of snake pike. Water temps were 55-58 for both days. With warmer weather on tap I expect the water to warm up quick now. That will hasten the crappies to spawn so they should be found shallow for a week or two.
