The walleye fishing on the northern end of Francis Case near chamberlain is very good. The ice came off again this year in late February leaving wintering walleyes easily accessed by boat. The fishing is good to fantastic depending on the weather. Most of the fishing is from the town of Chamberlain to the dam at Ft Thompson. Jigs and minnows fished along the old channel edges in the Kiowa and Crow Creek areas seems to be the best. Fishing 10 to 16 feet on the drop offs is producing quick limits of really nice walleyes. Raps and berkley flicker Shads on leadcore line trolled upstream slowly are also producing lots of nice fish. The guide season has started early so give us a call for a great fishing trip.
