Bill and Mark from the Chicago area booked a morning trip on "The Rock" for today. They have gone out with me in the past, and every time it was cold or windy. Today wasn't any different, it was cold and windy. We met at the County Park at 7 and the white caps were rolling out of the north west pretty, good so we opted to go to the river to get a little relief from the wind. We worked jigs and dead rods tipped with big fat-heads and trolled cranks behind boards. Finished the morning with over 30 fish including 5 northern, 1 musky, 1 crappie, 1 white bass, 1 sheep's head, 3 keeper walleye, and more than 20 "shorties".

Keep a tight line!!!
