Back out on Wednesday and Thursday and found the action to be good at best. Wednesday, my guest and I spent our morning hours vertical jigging over cribs and stumps in search of big crappies and we found just 13 keepers, some throwbacks, but over all it was slow, it was one here and one there, very cloudy water out there after all the rain we got recently. All the fish caught were taken on 1/16th ounce Reeves weedless jigs tipped with small white twister tails or Gulp minnows. Thursday was a tough day with all the wind and difficult to keep positioned over cribs or stumps and my guest and I found only 5 big crappies and 3 palm sized bluegills. We then moved in close to the wind blown shore line weeds and here we found a few active walleye with only one being a keeper, 17 incher made the pile of filets much nicer.

Back out on Sunday and Monday for a couple of morning trips, will keep you posted.
