Default Just finished (finally) reading Bill Hamblin's book........

titled, 120 Days.. It was a good read and definitely emulates the drive needed to hunt giant fish on low populated waters. If it were not for all the power outages we have had the past 2 weeks plus my wife's eye surgery recovery phase, the book would still be unfinished.

    Anyone else read it?

I met Bill last winter and got a book. I don't really read books, but I really liked the book and finished it pretty quick. I try to make it to fish the Georgian Bay every fall, so I could relate well to the book and know what its like up there. It would take alot of patience and perseverance to fish that many days for so few fish. One of these days I'll get the one I'm looking for there.

I am not much on reading books cover to cover but this one was short enough and the right topic to keep me motivated. I spent 3 days up there trolling with Jody Mills in the Honey Harbour area and loved it. And to tackle something that big while meticulously biting off little chunks to cast? That takes a special type of motivation but the most rewarding, IMO.
