    Default Kegonsa or Puckaway?

I have never fished either. My dad and I are looking to fish one of these lakes in late August for northern and bass. Would either be better that time of year. I have heard that Puckaway can get really shallow. We have a 17 foot deep V with a 90 HP. Would that present a problem?

We are looking for catch and release action. We are not really trophy hunting. Any info would be appreciated.

I am partial to Kegonsa as it has quality and quantity. It has plenty of deep water weed/weed lines, one frustration fish can be a fickle bite at times. I like to throw Big white or perch colored spinnerbaits like the Esox Cobra WilloBeast Preyfish Spinnerbait.
