Monday's half day trip started on the slow side as my 2 guests and I started our morning working a shallow wind blown shoreline using Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads and found nothing to show for our efforts, guess the fish didn't like the north wind blowing so early. On our next of our last two stops for the morning showed somewhat better action. Working in 12 to 13 feet of water over submerged wood, we found a few jumbo perch and 4 good keeper eyes before moving to deeper water, here in 16 foot of water we found the action slow at first but all of the sudden they turned on and we ended up boating another jumbo perch and our final 5 eyes, very nice ones at that as they ran between 16 and 21 inches, just the way you want to end a fishing trip.

Back out today for a half day trip, will keep you posted.
