The Lake Michigan Fishing Season has started. All of the Milwaukee County ramps have the docks in and are open. McKinley Marina opens for the 2016 season this Sunday, May 1st. This includes the Fish Cleaning Station there. I have heard no word on the cleaning station at South Shore Park, as it was broken at the end of last season, and is slated to be replaced sometime this Fall with the scheduled renovation activities.

Fishing has been steady and improving, when we have not had to deal with multiple days of easterly blows.

Hot spots have been the Milwaukee harbor for Browns and Lakers. The "Green Can" and south have been providing mixed bags of Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Chinook and Coho Salmon and an occasional Rainbow. We are waiting for the arrival of the true Coho run, which last heard is still occurring in Illinois and the Wisconsin boarder.

Shore fishing has been steady at the Sportsman Pier located at the Oak Creek Power Plant.

Good Luck and Tight Lines to all and hope to see you on the water!
