    Default August on the Flowage

Hi everybody...best we could do is the middle of August for our annual muskie hunt !
Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on that time of the summer. We did June the last few years and I can't remember what to expect for August. Also we fish for bass and panfish. Thanks/greg.

Hope for a cold summer. If its like last year you'll be great. If its 95 out, enjoy the swimming and panfishing the deep cribs. Good luck!

I actually love August for muskies. They can be extremely tough to find but very rewarding when you do figure out a pattern. Either really thick weeds or off the deeper edge of structure seems to be the ticket at that time. Bulldawgs have been good in the past but not every year. Pacemakers and Ghosttails have been the best historically. Don't be afraid to try just about everything in the box.
